Art Show Invite – Little Art Show 2010
I am very excited about this year’s Little Art Show!
Being my second LAS (last year I had my “Playing My Dreidel” at the show), this year promises to be bigger and better!
With over 100 little pieces of art, all size 8″x10″, and all silently auctioned starting at $80, the event draws many art lovers for the opportunity to purchase beautiful original artwork from some prominent local, national and international artists, for a fraction of their usual price. It is the main fundraiser of the Artists’ Network of which I am a member of. The network is dedicated to help its members to develop professionally, and create programs, studio and exhibition opportunities, as well as operates the Hang Man Gallery and the annual Riverdale Art Walk.
The Little Art Show runs for the 9th year. This year it will be at the Mercedes-Benz downtown Toronto, with comedian Maggie Cassella leading the evening as MC, culinary boulevard featuring food from local sponsors, and many great prizes (first prize is 2 First Class VIA 1 train tickets to Montreal, and many packages of prizes for art lovers). You can see all the details about the event at the Little Art Show webpage.
Three of my paintings were juried to participate in the show, “Gage Calling”, “Narcissus” and “Green Hope”. I painted Gaga for a previous show I was in, Octopus Project XI: HELLO, but Narcissus and Green Hope are new, and were painted specifically for this show.
You can view all the other artwork auctioned that night in the Artist’s Network’s 2010 Artwork Gallery. You will see the amazing art that will be featured, by such as Paul Brandejs, Russell Brohier, Adam Colangelo, Bianka Guna, Gordon Leverton, Jamie MacLean, Gary Smith, Olena Sullivan, Toni Wallachy and many more!
I would like to invite you all to join me and my artist friends in this amazing event!
