Social Media for Artists at the Artists’ Network
Last week I had the pleasure of giving a session at the Artists’ Network about Social Media for Artists. The session was held at the face of the network, the Hang Man Gallery, and about 10 artists showed up.
I usually think that I don’t prepare enough slides for such sessions, but at the end I have to rush through what I did prepare because there were so many good questions from everyone that I didn’t have time to cover everything.
The session was based on one of the courses that I developed in the series of New Media for Artists Courses. It covers subjects such as How to use Social Media to promote your art including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn, and Do I need a blog and what should I write about, and more.
Here are some pictures from the session. To make it more Social Media oriented, I promised everyone, and got their consent as well, that these pics will show up on my blog, my Facebook page, and we also used Twitter to tell the world what we are doing….
On Facebook I can tag everyone. But here I will just thank everyone who came and mention their websites.
